Microsoft Windows 7 - There have been a lot of complaints
about Windows Vista. So before you go out and buy a new PC that
has Vista on it, make sure you have all of your facts straight.
Release Date - Windows 7 will be available for purchase on
Oct 22, 2009.
Pricing:Windows 7 Home
Premium: $120 for upgrade; $200 for full version
Windows 7
Professional: $200 for upgrade; $300 for full version
Windows
7 Ultimate: $220 for upgrade; $320 for full version
Pre-Ordering Saves You Half - If you have a PC
that is already running XP or Vista you can pre-order starting
June 26th. Pre-Ordering saves you around 50% off the estimated
retail price. There are limited quantities of pre-order
licenses.
Free Upgrades - If you buy a
new computer after June 26th, it should be covered under a free
upgrade plan. This means if you buy a PC with Windows Vista Home
Premium, you'll be eligible for Windows 7 Home Premium. Vista
Ultimate gets you Windows 7 Ultimate. Etc, Etc. Be sure to check
with the retailer for details.
